Delete or disable orders

I would like to use QC with [i]just[/i] the email order details and not the online order details. I am using it for a shop for some people I will never learn how to handle an online interface, so I don't want to get the shop cluttered up with an ever growing list of pending orders ;-)

I was looking through the files and found a function 'delOrderMass' in cor/orders_admin.php which should delete older then 24 hours not finished orders. This woud do just fine, but i doesn't seem to work, I got a week old orders in my list.

Even better would be if I could somehow disable even writing to the list and just send out the emails to the client and admin.

delOrderMass - this function delete not finished orders by clients. this function dont delete orders with status "not finished" or "pending"

OK, that makes sense. But is there a way to either automaticaly delete or not write orders to db/orders.php? Or can I purge orders.php without manualy overwriting it with an empty file?
