Amount discount

Hello,

I am not sure how to make this:
I need to give special discount on X amount, with some kind of dropdown box, like:

1 pcs. $10
5 pcs. $45
10 pcs. $80
etc.

The productAttributes doesn't give exactly that - Does anyone have a good idea how to make a function like that? (The price and discount may vary from product to product, so i can't even make a "10 pcs. gives a discount on 20%" rule)

One solution could be to add pricefields for 10, 50 and 100 pcs etc in the db, but it seems like a difficult one.. No one have any ideas?

... Or maybe - even though its not very clever - a possibility to create the product in 50, 100 etc pcs packaging, and then show those on the main product page (and hide them in the product overview)
