Ok I just learned about Quick.Cart a couple of days ago.. It's what I've been looking for.. That being said I am a newbie and have no programing experiance, other then static web pages. I installed Quick.Cart v1.4(fat) on my web site which I think is very cool. Reading here I have learned about plug-ins which I would like to incorperate.
First question: I have heard much talk about a PayPal plug in, but I have searched the download area and here in the quick.cart topic area as to where to find this plug-in, and have not been able to locate it. Where do I need to go to find the PayPal Plug-in?
Second question: I have an editor program for PHP "PHP Designer 2005" but it doesn't recognise the .tpl files. What program should I be using to edit the .tpl files?
Any other information you think might help a newbie like me out would be great. Thank you
LokoLobo - Quick.Cart v1.4(fat) has already a list of free plugins already installed. Does not exist a PayPal Plugin yet (only a few posts in forum telling you how to add functionality). I am developing one at the moment but there is more work to do. .tpl files are basically html files with a special format: <-- BEGIN *BLOCK* --> // html code and PHP variables (those begining with $) here <-- END *BLOCK* --> represents various blocks of templates necessary for teh script to generate pages. You can use your program but use All files (*.*) filter when opening .tpl files. For the rest there is this forum where you can post questions, and a list of sites using QC from where you can look and see what you can do with this script.
