Email send error

Hi. i'm using qc 1.2 & everising was fine and i was having a letter on my email that i have new order...go to the admin panel etc... when someone makes his order. but some days ago this function stopped work. i dont remember what i do exactly when it stopped work. qc working fine now, but the notice about new order did't work. i can see new orders just in the admin panel. is there any solution?

Or using if using Pluginmanager 2 amd htmlOrderDetails 2 check:
Admin>Configure>E-mail new orders to Admin to be 'No'.
Admin>Configuration>Plugins>htmlOrderDetails 2 >Yes
Admin>Configuration>Plugins>htmlOrderDetails 2 >Configure 'Method' hasnt been changed, paths are correct for Method and 'Show Email Body and Stop' is unticked.

it is already YES...but nothing..:(

BUT ,when i want to make any changes and save it in htmlOrderDetails 2
there is an error :
403 Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /admin.php on this server.

WHY?
i have never seeing this error before...

If the Admin->Configuration->E-mail new orders to Admin = 'yes' AND you configure htmlOrderDetails as well you get two emails to the administrator.

/admin.php should be set to 604 (thats Owner=read+write, Group = no permissions, Pubic = read. If you cant change these delete the file and upload a copy from QC using binary transfer.
Also download /config/general.php and check the email address is correct ($config['email']} and "mail informing" = false

Then download /plugins/htmlMailOrderDetails/config.php and check
...'sendAdmin' = true
And if using smtp to send your emails
...'method' = smtp and the smtpHosts, smtpUser and smtpPword entries are correct.

Can you send email via this smpt account on your ordinary mail program?
Also check with your ISP as some smtp systems use a non standard port such as 225.

~NED i can send it to you, but the reason is not smtp, because, it does't work with another post methods,that why i think, that is will not help me...:(

I am having a similar problem with QCLoaded v.13.

I had the whole cart working fine with emails etc. but at some point I disabled the htmlmailorderdetails plugin then re-enabled, afterwards I read that this shouldn't be done!

So I tried to fix it and couldn't. I have now put on a completely fresh version of QC with no edited files at all, put in my email address on configuration page and tried to test it out. Now I am getting the client email but no admin email.

Any ideas on what could have happened?

Quick question - if changing details in admin>configuration>plugins>htmlMailOrderDetails - do the permissions of the plugin files need to changed to 777?

Jo - in order to maintain changed details from config you need to chmod 777 config.php from plugin folder.

Are you using htmlMailOrderDetails plugin.?
If so what send type are you using?
