Transform qc in catalog

Can i transforfm qc in to an online catalog, i don't need the basket function, can it be deleted?
Before i try to change it i want to know if the developers of the qc agree with this... and maybe give me some tips.

you can try, but think about Quick.Cms maybe it is what you want
