Additional images for Products

Is it possible to add more than the 3 images that the system already allows? I have some experience in php so if you can give me suggestions I could try to edit the code

liture - You can add more than 3 images:
a) add 3 images and save
b) and again add 1-3 images...

thank you, I feel a bit dumb since it never occured to me to try it :) thanks again
