cmyk jpg uploading problem

Hi,

i'm currently using the last version of qcart, and can upload new product images in cmyk formatted jpeg, but after completely upload my site to the server, uploading cmyk images not possible. can i solve this? i think it's a GD problem.

(Local computer using xampp(php5.1.1,GD2.0.28 ) for testing, server using linux with php4.3.4 and GD2.0.15)

i read that the gd's documentation and found cmyk colorspaced jpegs loadable after GD2.0.22
