in Internet explorer 7 the menu bar doesn't appear with the new quickcart 1.2 It's not just my site. I have also checked other sites with qc1.2
Does anyone know how to solve this ? because when in some time more people have ie7, the problem appears with more people..

O well, I think here we deal with the problem the new IE is having when it handles old CSS hacks. Open default.css. Around line 23 to 25 you will find:
/* Hides from IE-mac \*/ * html .clearFix{height:1%;} /* End hide from IE-mac */
Remove the * in front of html.clearFix{......
and your problem is solved.
Nobody is using the bad IE for the Mac anyway. And it does not seem to have a negative effect on other browsers. But one should test.....

With or without the * the menu bar doesn't display on IE Mac. Although aware Mac users use FireFox, most others don't know about it and are still using IE.
Is there some way of getting this to work with v1.2?

you could delete or outcomment:
/*.clearFix:after{content:"."; display:block; height:0; clear:both; visibility:hidden;} /* Hides from IE-mac \*/ /*html .clearFix{height:1%;} /*I removed the star in front of html .clearFix{.... Does it effect other browsers?*/ /* End hide from IE-mac */
Now the blue-green background bar will cover just the buttons and will not go straight through up to the search bar as before. But now it is also visible in Mac-IE, although not well formated. However, it look s ok in Win-IE6, IE7 and FF1.5. I have not checked other browsers.
