Hi there,

Just downloaded the package and was under the impression this could also run on Windows.
Can this run on win2k?

If so, is there any reference docs available on setting it up ?

Thanks

It should run fine on any platform running apache with a stable version of php configured with GD!
There are no more docs available then there are in the ditribution of QC itself i think.

I have Apache 1.3 .X and php 4.4 loaded fine.

However, I must admit I was looking for some more user-friendly documentation on this package.

Google landed me to this site, looking for a flat file based shopping cart, since
my application is fairly small in nature.

This package seems to meet my requirement but, No can do without some reference guide ( in english )...
Oh Well!
Back to Google... :)
Thanks anyway

here is a real beginner for you...I have downloaded the zip file from the internet and extracted the files to to my preferred location...now what?

I have read about.txt several times but no joy for my feeble wit has been found...are there any further documents that may light the way for those of us short on candlepower?

I am using wondows XP with 2003 SP2 if this aids in your advise

@bwanaal
You need a web server to serve quick cart. And php 4,33 and Gd lib for windows. If You are newbie...just buy a hosting account on ready to go servers and extrac files to remote server.

1.download QC to Your machine
2.unpac zip/rar file to choosen folder (using rar, zip etc)
3.upload unpacked files (folder struckture must be the same) to remote machine (web server, hosting account) (using ex. Total Commander ftp , or another ftp client)
4.give to all folder/files chmod 777 using Your ftp client(its mean You give permisssion to write for QC - what is chmod, just ask google)
5.QC is ready to work

logging for admin: yourhost/folder of qc/admin.php
standard login: admin

You can use QC on Your localhost (you computer) but You need a web server with php minimum 4.3.3 and gdlib library(its graphic library) instaled with PHP.
standard pass: admin
