Installation on subfolder failed

Hi,
I have been installing quick.cart 6.3 onto our side into a subfolder and set all the permission to 777 as in the instruction mentioned. I cannot login and while the demo runs well, it does not move product into the shopping cart. I would love to make it running since quick.cart seems to bee the perfect solution for our needs. Any suggestion what could be the problem: PHP ver 5.3 is installed on the server.

Problem solved, was related to the server.
