Hi
I use for a small seasonal (Christmas) eshop a very old version of QC (v 1.4). Every year i promise that i will update but every time something happen and i procrastinate on this update....
As you can understand this eshop has orders only this time of the year.
Last year everything works fine.
This summer i had to change hosting company and we transfer the data from one server to another.
In the same server i host a couple of other web sites and everything was looking OK until now, when some prospect clients try to order some items from my QC eshop and send me a message that they where unable to add items on the basket.
I spend sometime reinstalling the QC eshop, i also try to alternate some settings without luck.
I also try to install a newer version but my products database is not compatible so this is not an option right now since i have to invest time to rework my database, which i don't have.

So here is the question:
I suspect that there is a problem with my server settings, but i don't know what is the problem in order to contact my hosting company and ask for help (probably some php settings...)
Any ideas? This problem sound familiar to any of you? Can you help me please?

Thanks in advance
Filop Aman

Maybe there is some problem with chmod for db files. You can also try to change session directory:

If this will not work and you don't see any errors ask your server admin, maybe there are some errors but they are not displayed.

Hi wewior and thank you for your answer
db & files directory (also all the files inside them) are in 777, so i think there is no problem here.
There is no way to change the session directory in this version (1.4) at least following the instructions from the link you give, since there is no

ini_set'session.save_path''files/sessions/' );

line in configuration.php file of this version
I contact the server admin and ensure me that there are no errors.

I'm waiting for more ideas. I'm loosing sales every day :(
