Problem with languages/permissions

Thanks for this great script.
We have found a problem when trying to change the language: The pages created for the new language in directory 'DB' are not accesible and cause the hole site to be inaccesible too i think (I believe the PHP fails when assigning the 777 permissions). I know It may be because of the server setings, but we don't have control over them, any idea on how to override this ?

ciberpalma - ask server admin to change permissions. if You want start new lang You need to have:
- config/lang_NewLangName.php
- lang/NewLangName.php
- db/NewLangName_*.php - 3 files in new language

Thanks for the answer, but we allready did try all the above (except asking the server admin, we can normally change permissions via FTP, only had problems in this case). Now, we managed to get working polish and english languages but the page breaks wen changing to spanish. At first, it seemed a problem with permissions but now all files are in their folders with their 777 permissions and still not working properly, ummm...will keep on trying

By the way, is it possible for the user to swith between languages in the public page? How can it be done ? Thanks again
