how can I add a next and back button to detail pages

Does anyone know how to add a next and back button ( and possibly numbered pages like gallery) to the detail page. eg
<div id="pageShow">
back 123 4 56 next
image
full descriptions </div>
Basically scrolling through the sublist of menu1

broon - maybe I don't understand you, but in Q.cms is next and prev button between pages, you can see this here http://www.opensolution.org/Quick.Cms/demo/?p=p_11&sName=news in bottom of page. If I don't understand you give some screenshot to describe it better.

Hi merci thank you for you response. Sorry I was not clear.
I need a next and back for the detail page view . eg on
http://www.opensolution.org/Quick.Cms/demo/?p=p_17&sName=news-6
a next button at the top of the page would go to the detail page
http://www.opensolution.org/Quick.Cms/demo/?p=p_16&sName=news-5

So not for the list view...
Does that make any sense?
I will prepare a screenshot if not.
