Hi..

I have just come across you .. and just playing at the moment.. to help a few friends with an a CMS based website.. where joomla has too steep learning curve but your software might be able to provide a solution

I am no programmer but understand quite a bit of php.. and have written some code / programs so not afraid of getting my hands dirty

I using the free version at the moment but if they are feature in the pro i might just have a go a looking to buy it.

These site i am designing for free and are a basic sites to get small companies off the ground so money is tight.. and i am just trying to assist them but give them a way of editing content after setting it up

1. Would it be quite easy to incorporate a different open source editor
2. Is it possible to create the left hand side menu to change and show different options depending on the top menu which has been selected
3. Could i integrate a the quick cart in to it to basic give a catalogue section to the site.

Many thanks for any ideas or assistance

devo.uk - it isn't difficult to add editor to Q.C, in documentation is wrote how to add FCKeditor, you can read it here: http://opensolution.org/Quick.Cms/docs/?id=tips#how_to_upload_editor_fckeditor. Integration with Q.Cart as a catalogue also is possible. This topic should help you http://opensolution.org/Quick.Cart/forum/?p=readTopic&nr=3887
As about left menu, if I understand you properly, you would like to display there submenu of selected page. The easiest way to do this is to put there list of subpages which now display under title of parent page in content of site, but in that way you wouldn't be able to add sub-sub pages to your site.
