automatic adding 'rel="external"' to any external link in text

Hello!

As in topic. Anybody knows that?

I want to use a function which would add 'rel="external"' to any external link (i.e. link with any other domain or page than mine / internal).
I want that to be done "on the fly", e.g while saving the page or else. I already have the javascript opening new window if rel="external' is found within a link.

savan - it is quite big modyfication...if you want, we can do it for you,(contact with us via e-mail) however we don't recommend that as it will make your script works slower.
