never needed this forum before but I do now. I have used quickcart for a while and love it. This is the first time I have tried quick CMS and I am having trouble.
I have just dowmloaded and installed the latest version. I have chmod'ed all the relavent files and directories to 777 but the system seems to be ignoring the CSS file. I have read through all the code and can't see why but I get a styleless page
Somebody was asking about this issue here. We tried find problem but only what We find out is maybe Your server require chmod 755 to Yours css files (default, plugins). Try this..
I know this problem. Try to remove .htaccess file from the template directory. It is in the instalation version of Quick CMS. You may not see it on the server but there it is. Even then you may remove it. In total commander use command del .htaccess like in the old DOS times. If it is there, you will be informed if not you will get message. This file makes troubles. I think that it is connected with the version of PHP.

Adi311 you saved me a weeks work - thank you so much!
Thank you:-) but I'm afraid that it is not the end :-(.
I have a very difficult problem with Qucik CMS Lite 2.1 and new uprgade of PHP. Something is wrong and my website doesn't work correctly. The .htaccess file is only one problem another one is more serious:-(.
If you could check something? It may save your time and work, too. Try to upload any pictures using administration panel. Is it possible? Or you get only icons?
Please add 50 files into files folder in the main directory. Different files, it doesn't matter what: pictures, document etc. After that please check if you are able to add any new pages using administration panel.
Unfortunatelly I noticed that more than 45 files will block the administration panel. Everything was OK before the PHP upgrade.
I already sent post about my problem via this forum. Unfortunately I haven't get any answer:-(. I'm not an PHP programmer and I'm not able to verify it myself. I only know that the Quick CMS Lite ver 2.1 works great with the previous version of PHP (4), because I have tested the same website on the server that used it.
Maybe we get any response if there be more of us;-).
