The top display of parent categories over the category name is the "navipath" feature of Quick Cart 3.x. I just moved it from the usual position to a much reasonable place.
Subpages in darker field are my special modification 'Easy Navigation' that I can offer for money, it allows the display of what you just did on your site but without any work at all.
Oh, I forgot one more thing. To make your category beelden-dieren look like my modification, you must also add all relevant products to that category. For example, Giraffe gebrand 100cm must belong to "Giraffen" and also to "Beelden Dieren". You can achieve this when editing a product, use CTRL+ left mouse click to select several categories that the product will belong to.

It really doesn't work. You see all my subpages below categories. I will bring it back to the way it was and leave it like that. This isn't gonna work.
